The wind instrument Rana Kahale plays an important role in the Indian Context. It is used for announcing the beginning as well as the end of a war. It is used for giving out a signal. It is also used for announcing the arrival of an important person. It is used in various functions in the temples as well. In our party context it means it is an announcement of the arrival of a party vowing to reform the government, to fight against corruption, to promote quality education, and to bring about a political revolution for a better society etc. Earlier the instrument was made of Buffalo horns. Now it is made of brass. Since the military personnel are entering the political arena with an aim to reform and also it being the symbol of Military, the Rana Kahale has been adopted as the symbol of the party.

The President
Brigadier Ravi Muniswamy is a graduate mechanical engineer from the Bangalore Institute of Technology. After a brief stint in the civil industry, he was selected for Army Navy and Air Force. He was part of School and College NCC. The motivational lectures that he received during his NCC days and reading about the Independence struggle by India led by great Personalities like Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Bagat Singh, Chandrasekhar Azad, Raj Guru etc. and the valour demonstrated by great Kings like Maha Rana, Prithviraj, Chatrapathi Shivaji, Sri Krishna Devaraya Motivated him to Join the Armed Forces. He eventually chose the Army. On Passing out of The Indian Military Academy he joined the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. He was posted in Srilanka during Operation Pawan. Also he was deployed to ensure smooth conduct of elections of Punjab in the early nineties after insurgency ended. He spent his Army tenure with Armoured Formations.

He is specialized in Tank Technology. He did M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Postgraduate Diploma In Automobile Engineering, MBA from Madras University, did a course in Statistical Quality Control one after the other. Also he did various short term courses in Quality management Systems, Environmental Management Systems, Test Lab Management System, Reliability Engineering etc.
He was head of Quality Assurance Division MBT Arjun and Head of Quality Assurance Division Infantry Combat Vehicles. He took voluntary retirement in 2014. After retirement he served in Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme and as Director, Department of Sainik Welfare and Resettlement for the state of Karnataka. During this period he had contributed immensely to the welfare of the Ex-Servicemen . Currently he is involved in social work. He is the Joint Secretary, Bharath Rakshak Foundation,. He is also from a rural background. He believes in that there are lots of talent in rural India which could be tapped with little guidance and support so that they too can make it big. He takes part in TV discussions involving Military matters, delivers lectures in various schools and colleges etc.
He is a keen sportsman. He is a swimmer, cyclist and trekker. His favourite hobbies are long distance cycling and exploring forts and other historical places around the country. He is one of the founders of Club 60 the Cycling Gang. He has been chosen as President of the “Sarvajanika Adarsha Sena” for his dedication to the Military Service foresight and capability to bring in a positive change to the work he is involved in.
The Vice President
Shri Arun Kumar BS joined Indian Airforce after completing His Schooling. He was trained in Armaments technology for Armaments and weapons mounted on Russian Origin Aircrafts such as MIG-21, MIG-23, MIG-25, MIG-27 etc. During the course of his service in the Air Force, he upgraded his skills continuosly. Because of his skills he was posted in Mechanical Systems as Supervisory/Departmental Head for a period of Eight Years. He has expertise in Arming, Disarming and maintenance of various Aircraft Systems. He has thorough knowledge in Maintenance, Repair and Servicing of Ground Weapon systems.
He was posted in Airforce Technical College (AFTC) a premier training organization for training technical officers of Air Force for future assignments. During this period he was trained in Quality management Systems (QMS). Further after training he was made in charge of documentation and records creation as per QMS, Completion, maintenance and phasing out as per the regulations. He had taken active part in the certification of AFTC for ISO: 9001:2000 Operation and maintenance of systems for five years. He was empowered to liaising, Controlling and coordination of Aircraft Movements. He was responsible for issue of Air Defence clearance to Military and Civil Aircrafts with in the area of his responsibility. He has instructional experience in servicing repair and maintenance of various Arms and weapons during his service.
Shri Arun Kumar took voluntary discharge after eighteen years of service from the Air Force. After discharge he set up a home land security system with expert team and service extending to various organizations with a sound network. He is a BA (History) graduate, a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Air Force, Diploma in Technology awarded by Air Force, Skill Proficiency Certification in Weapons and Armaments, Security training certificate awarded by Air Force, Diploma in Industrial Security and Safety Management Firefighting and first Aid of National Institute of Security Management. He was in NCC and RSS during his school days. He says that his involvement in NCC has shaped his personality well and instilled in him the National spirit that Country is always the first and foremost. Besides those above activities, he holds the post of President of Karnataka Ex-Servicemen Association. The Association takes up the matters related to grievances of Ex-Servicemen with the appropriate authorities till their logical end. He has been elected for the post of Vice President of the Sarvajanika Adarsha Sena.
Joint Secretary
Major N Raghu Rama Reddy is an Indian Army Veteran with 24 years of service in the Armed Forces. After completing his PUC, he joined Air Defence Artillery as a technician. Post joining Army he acquired a degree from The Osmania Open University. Later on he was selected for commission into the Infantry, The Second Battalion of The Rajput Regiment. He served in many parts of India as well as abroad. This includes North East during Bodo Land insurgency, Jammu and Kashmir etc. Notable contribution of the unit was capture of many Key Bodo Militants. The unit motivated these militants to lay down the arms and join mainstream. This led to surrender of more than 650 militants. These militants were resettled in Central and State Government jobs and also signalled the beginning of a logical end to the terrorist organization. He had also contributed significantly to this responsibility in true traditions of the Indian Army which has repeatedly proved that Indian Army is not only prepared to guard that nation through war but also can handle crisis by peaceful means. He served in Kargil sector during Kargil operations, many other Counter Insurgency operations and also in United Nations Peace keeping Force in Africa.
He is decorated with Chief of Army Staff Commendation card for exemplary work he did as camp commandant for conducting the Republic Day parade in the year 2011. His service to the Nation has been recognized by various Corporations, Government and Media. He is a motivational speaker and has been called by many agencies to deliver speeches including Colleges and school. He is the President of Bharath Rakshak Foundation an NGO level organization which is in the process of motivating the rural youth to join Armed Forces as he is also from a rural back ground. He believes that there is abundant rural talent available which with proper guidance can be moulded to contribute for Nation building. He is the Karnataka State bureau chief Nalla 24X7 News Channel and National legal advisor for Human Rights, Anti-Corruption and Anti-Crime Organization (R) NGO.
Besides he is a keen sportsman too. He has won Gold and Silver Medals during his training in Indian Military academy, Dehradoon. Presently he is engaged in full time social work. He has been elected as Joint Secretary of the party “Sarvajanika Adarsha Sena” in recognition of his exemplary work both during Service and after retirement.
The Treasurer
Shri Ramesh is a BA Graduate of Bengaluru open University. After completing PUC in science combination he joined The Indian Army in The Corps (Core) of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers in the Electronics Stream. His Military training was in in EME Center Secunderabad followed by technical training in Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering in Secunderabad. He was trained to Repair and Maintain different types of Electronics and communication Equipments of the Indian Army in operational readiness round the clock. The communication is the most important in the Armed Forces as it is one of the decisive factor to guide the course of a battle.
Because of his intelligence and sustained effort he was selected for Armament Art which is through a rigorous process of entrance test and selection. He was awarded Diploma in Electronics Engineering by the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering. He has worked in all kinds of communication equipments in the Army both for repair and maintenance of the same. He was responsible for issue of maintenance instructions to the field Army on the operation and maintenance of the communication equipments for their operational readiness and for optimum equipment life. He served in J&K for two tenures lasting nearly 7 years which is infested not only with terrorists but also threw up challenges in the form of tough and inclement weather conditions.
He is Master Tech in Communications of Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering, Diploma Junior leadership Academy Barely under Lalbahadur Shashtri University for Defence. Besides he has done Diploma Course in Industrial Safety and Security including safety for defence, Diploma in personnel management in Defence. Because of his service in Armed Forces he has gained adequate expertise in various skills handling security, personnel management, cross coordination besides his core area of Electronics and communication. Apart from other skills he is a keen sports man too. He plays Football Basket Ball and Hockey.
He is also Vice President, Karnataka Ex-Servicemen Federation which is involved in taking up issues related to the ex-servicemen with government and Military Authorities. He is an avid reader as well. He has a wide knowledge about the great Kings of India and about the leaders who fought forIIndependence. These have instilled a high degree of Nationalistic spirit in him and in turn motivated him to join the Army. He is elected as the Treasurer of Sarvajanika Adarsha Sena
